Iron Man: Armored Adventures was a short-lived 2009 toyline developed by Hasbro, based on the CGI animated series of the same name. Like the majority of Hasbro's Marvel figures from the late 2000's, the series is designed as part of the Marvel Universe brand, based on a roughly 3 3/4" scale. The series was a companion line to the larger Iron Man: The Armored Avenger toyline, which featured greater articulation and a variety of designs based on the film and comics, while the Armored Adventures line featured lesser articulation for a greater emphasis on action features and playability for a younger audience.
Due to a combination of low sales and weak ratings for the series it was based on, the Armored Adventures subline only lasted for a single wave of figures and one vehicle- all based on the show's first season, and Hasbro did not attempt to draw on the show's many unique redesigns on any of the subsequent Iron Man toylines released afterwards.
