Deadpool

Deadpool, real name Wade Wilson, is a mercenary and notorious assassin. Discovering he was dying from cancer, Wade signed on with the Weapon X program in an experimental procedure to try and escape his inevitable fate. Under the observation of Dr. Killebrew, Weapon X artificially granted Wade an advanced healing factor, allowing him to survive and regenerate from nearly any injury, at the cost of ravaging his body with horrific scars and leaving him deformed.

On a contract, Deadpool crossed swords with Cable and his X-Force team, and while he was defeated, the contract would plant the seeds of what would eventually become Deadpool's closest friendship. With Cable's influence, Deadpool would begin to work at becoming a better person, but found himself continually undermining his own efforts, leading to constant tensions between the mercenary and the X-Men he frequently crossed paths with.

When Deadpool discovered that a former one night stand had given birth to his daughter, and both were being held captive to force his cooperation, he sought out help from the rest of the super human community, but could only get fellow Weapon X project Wolverine and Captain America to come to his aid. Recognizing Deadpool's efforts to be a better man and struck by his life of tragedy, Cap vowed to befriend and support the mercenary, and eventually lead to his invitation to the Avengers Unity Squad.

Deadpool (Comic Series) - X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Released as part of the first wave of 3 3/4" figures from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie toyline, Comic Series Deadpool is, as the name implies, a comic based version of the character, wearing the variant of his classic costume depicted in the Cable & Deadpool series. The figure is an original sculpt.

Deadpool includes 2 katana swords, which can store in the sheaths on his back, a pistol which can store in his hip holster, a massively oversized sai that can slide in the webgear on his back, and an assault rifle.

Being packed one per case, Deadpool was heavily scalped, and at the time of his release, was one of the most expensive figures on the secondhand market from the entire Marvel Universe initiative of toylines.

Deadpool (Deluxe Series) - X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Part of the more expensive Deluxe class line of figures from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie toyline, Deadpool is an extensive retool of the single card Comic Series figure. The figure includes a new headsculpt, a new neck piece, remolded web-gear with smaller scabbards, and a new hip removing the pistol holster.

To justify its place in the Deluxe Series, Deadpool includes a massive energy cannon, not based on any one particular weapon or moment from the comics. Deadpool can slot into the backside of the cannon, and balance the weapon on a large stand in the front. The cannon has a missile firing gimmick. Deadpool retains his two katanas from the single card release, but loses his other accessories.

X-Force Team Pack

Released as part of the first wave of Marvel Universe Team 3-Packs, Deadpool is a repaint of the Deluxe Series X-Men Origins: Wolverine figure, now in the colors of his X-Force uniform from Remender's Uncanny X-Force. The figure is packed alongside a repainted Wolverine, and a brand new Warpath, despite the fact that these three characters never actually served on the same X-Force roster at the same time.

As a repaint of the Deluxe Deadpool, X-Force Deadpool comes with the modified harness and smaller scabbards seen on that release, and keeps his two katanas.

Deadpool vs. Taskmaster (Greatest Battles Two-Packs)

Part of the second series of comic based two-packs released for the Marvel Universe line, the Greatest Battles Two-Pack Deadpool vs. Taskmaster includes both characters in their classic costumes, both with entirely new molds. Deadpool is taller and slimmer than the Origins figures, with more unique sculpted details.

The figure includes the same two katana swords included with each prior Universe Deadpool figure, that can be stored in loops on the back of the web gear harness, a pistol that can be stored in the holster on the figure's hip, and an incredibly small knife, which has its own sheath on the back of the belt.

Taskmaster includes his broadsword, which can be stored in a sheath on his belt, his shield, a bow, a full quiver of arrows, and a luger pistol that can be holstered inside his belt.

The set includes a copy of the comic that inspired the pairing, Cable & Deadpool #36, in which Deadpool attempts to fake a battle with Taskmaster to prove his skills to potential clients and get work again. While Deadpool thinks his "friend" is going to take a dive, Taskmaster attempts to genuinely kill him, but is thoroughly defeated by Deadpool anyway. Despite proving his skill, Deadpool's antics and lack of professionalism turn of his potential clients anyway, leaving Taskmaster to inform Deadpool that if something doesn't change, it doesn't matter how good he is- he'll never be able to cut it as a mercenary.

Deadpool - Deadpool Corps Boxset (SDCC 2013 Exclusive)

Part of the SDCC 2013 exclusive Deadpool Corps set, Deadpool is included alongside his teammates Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, Dogpool, Championpool as well as Squirrelpool. This release of Deadpool returns to the X-Men Origins mold. Each figure in the set is packaged in a unique Taco-shaped card, with each Taco placed inside a tray contained in an elaborate cardboard Taco Truck.

Deadpool includes the two katanas each previous release has included, as well as a small knife. This set introduces a number of new accessories as well- a new mold for a 90's laser pistol and laser rifle, a pair of yellow water wings for his arms, an inflatable duck floaty, and an alternate head with the mask rolled up exposing Wade's mouth.

Deadpool - Rainbow Squad Boxset

One of the final releases in the Marvel Universe brand line, the Rainbow Squad Boxset is a set of five Deadpool variants based on the Deadpool: Mercs for Money series, in which numerous other mercenaries from the Marvel Universe found themselves working for Deadpool and wearing color variant versions of Wade's costume. Included in this set are Slapstick in Yellow, Terror in Purple, Foolkiller in Blue, and Solo in green, as well as Deadpool himself in his classic Red. All five figures are based on the Deadpool from the Greatest Battles Two-Pack set, with the classic Deadpool himself having no major changes from that release.

Each of the figures includes the same accessories- two katanas that can sheath on the belt loops on the backside of the chest harness, a small knife that can slide into place on their belts, and a pistol that can store in their hip holsters, making for a total of 10 swords, 5 pistols and 5 knives included in the set.

Marvel Legends

Deadpool (Series VI)

Deadpool's first Marvel Legends figure was released by Toybiz as part of the sixth wave, and an extensive retool of the Daredevil body with a new head, feet, belt and webgear to recreate Wade's classic costume.

Deadpool includes a multitude of new accessories- two katana swords which sheath in the scabbards on his back, two sai which can sheath into his belt and webgear, two sub-machine guns which can store on the back of his web-gear, and a pistol which fits into the holster on his hip. The figure also includes an alternate head depicting Wade Wilson's heavily scarred visage.

As a bonus figure, Deadpool includes Doop, and a stand alone flight stand to hook Doop into allowing him to hover off the ground.

Like every other Marvel Legends figure from the Toybiz era, Deadpool includes a comic; in this case Joe Kelly's Deadpool #4.

Deadpool - Fan's Choice Two Packs (Toys'R'Us Exclusive)

One of the last figures for the original Marvel Legends line produced by Hasbro, Deadpool was released in a series of Toys'R'Us exclusive two-packs, with the character selection voted upon by the fans online; with Deadpool packed alongside Warpath. This iteration of Deadpool is an remold of the Bullseye figure with a new head sculpt, web-gear and belt. Like the rest of the Marvel Legends two-packs from this series, the set is available in two color options- the default, featuring Deadpool's classic costume and Warpath in his X-Force uniform. The alternate variant depicts Deadpool in his blue and yellow X-Men uniform from Cable & Deadpool #8.

Deadpool includes two katana swords, reused from the previous two-pack Hand Ninja figure, which can sheath in the scabbards on his back, and a pistol which can holster on his hip. The figure also includes an AR-M9F assault rifle, with the Deadpool logo spaypainted on the side. The original molds for both firearms were first included with Nick Fury.

Due to the low distribution of these final two-packs, and the high demand for both characters, the Deadpool & Warpath set quickly sold out and was regularly scalped far above its retail value online.

Deadpool (Epic Heroes Series)

Released as part of the third wave of Hasbro's "Return of Marvel Legends" line, the Epic Heroes wave, Deadpool is a repaint of the previous Toys'R'Us exclusive two-pack Deadpool in his Rick Remender Uncanny X-Force colors. Like both versions of the mold before him, this Deadpool is based on the Toybiz Bullseye mold. Just as the figure itself is repainted from red to grey, his web-gear and belt are similarly repainted from brown to black.

The figure includes two katanas, which can be sheathed in the scabbards on his back, a silver pistol which can be holstered on his hip, and an AR-M9F assault rifle. Like the rest of the figures from the Epic Heroes Series, Deadpool does not include any build-a-figure pieces; instead he comes with a display stand, which is actually a piece of land-tiles from the discontinued Hasbro board game, Heroscape, repainted in solid grey.

A variant of the figure in Deadpool's traditional red color scheme was solicited, but like numerous other swap figures from Hasbro's Return of Marvel Legends line, was never actually released.

Deadpool (Juggernaut Series)

The first depiction of the character since the line's rebranding as The Infinite Series, Deadpool is based on his costume redesign from the Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn written Marvel Now series, with more black colored spaces and armored shin-guards. The figure is based on the Bucky-Cap mold, with new forearms, lower legs and feet, depicting armored shin and wrist guards, and belt straps on the boots, as well as a new headsculpt, and a new right hand with his pinky finger extended.

The figure includes a multitude of accessories; two katanas that can sheath in the holsters on his back, two pistols- which can be stored in the holsters on his belt and hip, a small knife which can sheath on the side of his boot, a newly molded rectangular long rifle, a one-handed mini shotgun, a rocket launcher, a boxing glove piece which can fit into the barrel of the rocket launcher, and a taco. The figure also includes an unmasked head, depicting Wade's heavily scarred face.

Deadpool is the only figure in the wave to not include a build-a-figure piece for Juggernaut.

Deadpool - X-Force (HasCon Exclusive)

X-Force Deadpool is a repaint and minor retool of the Juggernaut Series Deadpool, depicting a variant of Deadpool as seen in Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force series. The figure is now cast in a dark grey plastic, and has remolded forearms, lower legs and feet to remove the armored guards of the Marvel Now design, as well as a newly molded rubber belt removing the holster and grenades from the Juggernaut wave figure.

The figure includes a number of the same accessories as the previous release- including two Katanas which can sheath in the holster on his back, a molded blue pistol that can be stored in a hip holster, a rocket launcher, a long rifle, a taco, a small knife and an alternate head depicting his unmasked, scarred face. Due to the remolding on the figure's lower legs, there is no longer a boot sheath to holster the knife. The figure also includes a couple of original accessories- a new firing blast effect that can peg into the rocket launcher, and two sub-machine guns.

The figure was released exclusively at the first HasCon, Hascon 2017, a multi-brand convention at the Rhode Island Convention Center, September 8–10, 2017. Like the HasCon exclusives from Hasbro's other brands, Deadpool was briefly made available through the Hasbro Toy Shop online, but sold out quickly.

Deadpool - Back in Black (Shared Exclusive)

A repaint of the Juggernaut Series Deadpool inspired by the Deadpool: Back in Black mini-series written by Cullen Bunn, with a design based on the art of Salva Espin, this figure depicts Deadpool as possessed by the Venom symbiote, which bonded to Deadpool shortly after Spider-Man's rejection of it.

Deadpool includes two katanas, cast in translucent pink plastic to give the appearance of a Lightsaber-esque energy blade, an alternate "monstrous" head making the figure seem more in line with traditional Symbiotes- display its sharp toothed maw, and a set of alternate hands. In addition to the traditional open gripping hands, the figure includes a pair of oversized clawed hands, and a single "Thwipping" Web-Shooter hand. Additionally, the figure includes the backpack piece from Agent Venom, allowing the figure to hold up to four more weapons in its tendrils.

The figure was initially solicited and released as a Gamestop Exclusive, but was ultimately released as a shared exclusive between Gamestop and online retail, such as BigBadToySTore and Entertainment Earth. An excess stock of the figure was made, and several months after its initial release, the Back in Black Deadpool was quietly released at Toys'R'Us chains as well. When Toys'R'Us folded in the United States, even more excess stock of the figure was released at Target alongside the Sasquatch wave.

Despite the usual popularity and quick selling nature of both Deadpool figures and Symbiote variants, the figure was a noted pegwarmer at all three retail locations it was released at.

Deadpool (Sasquatch Series)

The first of the two Deadpool variants released in the Sasquatch series, this Deadpool is based on his classic appearance, primarily on the art of Ed McGuinness from the seminal Joe Kelly run on the character. As such, Deadpool is a much brighter shade of red than previous Legends releases. The figure is built on the base body that debuted with Bullseye (Man-Thing Series), featuring improved articulation, most notably butterfly joints for the shoulders, and new head sculpt. The figure also includes new sculpts for his harness, belt and hip strap.

Despite its status as the wave's "main" version of the character, Deadpool is notably light in accessories compared to other releases of the characters- only coming with his two katanas, which are a new mold compared to the Juggernaut Series swords.

Deadpool is the only figure in the wave to not include a build-a-figure piece for Sasquatch.

Deadpool - X-Force Uniform (Sasquatch Series)

X-Force Deadpool is a re-release of the HasCon exclusive X-Force Deadpool with some minor changes, mostly pertaining to the releases' accessories.

The figure only includes the two katanas, the pistol and one of the long rifles. Like the rest of the Sasquatch wave figures, Deadpool's guns are recolored to look less like real firearms; the pistol remains molded in a turquoise blue, with a painted orange cap, while the longer rifle is now painted to match.

The build-a-figure piece included with this release is the head of Sasquatch.

Deadpool - X-Men Uniform (Sauron Series)

One of two Deadpool figures released in the Sauron series, this iteration of Deadpool is wearing his custom made X-Men uniform from the Daniel Way run. The figure is a repaint of the Sasquatch Series classic Deadpool, but utilizes the same accessories as that series' X-Force Deadpool instead.

Deadpool includes two katanas, and a long rifle now molded in dark grey plastic. The katanas can sheath on the harness on Deadpool's back. The figure also includes an alternate head, transforming the character into Madcap, and an elaborate feathered hat.

The build-a-figure piece included with this release is the tail of Sauron.

Deadpool (Sauron Series)

One of two Deadpool figures released in the Sauron series, this iteration of Deadpool is wearing his classic costume, but without pants, lounging in his boxers and a pair of slippers. The figure is a heavy retool of the Juggernaut series figure- featuring an entirely new sculpt from the waist down to show off his new, heavily scarred legs. The slippers are likewise newly sculpted pieces, glued onto the figure's feet. The figure also features a new head sculpt, with the mask rolled halfway up, revealing enough of Wade's scarred face to show off a cheeky smile.

Despite the actual sculpted parts being shared with another figure, the shade of red plastic used doesn't match with either the Juggernaut nor the Sasquatch wave figure, preventing the head from being used on another iteration of the character.

For accessories, Deadpool includes two firearms, repaints of the weapons that were originally included with the Sasquatch Domino figure; a short black rifle and a large black pistol, both based on futuristic fictional weapons. Deadpool also comes with the largest piece of the build-a-figure; the torso and head of Sauron.

Deadpool Corps (Ultimate Riders)

Another Juggernaut Series remold, this iteration of Deadpool retains the original release of the mold's armored wrist and shin guards from the Marvel Now design, but also includes new web-gear based on the teleporting harness used in the Cable & Deadpool series. Deadpool also comes with a new headsculpt, with an exaggerated wide-eyed look of fear or surprise.

As a release in the Ultimate Riders sub-class of figures, Deadpool includes a vehicle, his bright red electric scooter. In order to make space for the vehicle in the packaging, the horn and handlebars are included as separate pieces to snap into place. The vehicle also comes with an extensive sticker sheet, allowing you to customize the scooter with signs and bumper stickers filled with references such as "Doop was right", "I Heart Logan", and "Save the Rhinos". Other stickers depict battle damage, such as bullet holes and Wolverine claw marks.

The figure comes with two katanas, and scabbards for the katanas which can peg separately into Deadpool's back, and a small knife. Due to the return of the armored sculpts from the mold's original release, the knife can once again sheath in his boot. Deadpool also includes two non-articulated mini figures, depicting Dogpool and Squirrelpool. Finally, Deadpool includes an alternate head-sculpt for the recently released Hydra Soldier two-pack, which converts the smaller Hydra soldier into Bob, Agent of Hydra.

Super Hero Mashers- Deadpool

Released as part of the third wave in the Super Hero Mashers toyline, Deadpool is a stylized version of the character using bright colors and a cartoon aesthetic. Like every figure in the Mashers toyline, Deadpool is designed to be take apart and have pieces swapped around to create custom characters and combinations- a feature set shared across multiple Hasbro branded toylines, including Transformers, Star Wars and Jurassic Park.

As a Deluxe Class figure, Deadpool includes more accessories than the average Mashers release; he has two over-sized katana blades, which are meant to peg into holes on his back, a massive "rocket launcher" firearm with a spring-loaded firing projectile, and two shuriken, which can peg into any of the numerous slots designed to hold pieces and accessories throughout the figure.

Deadpool also comes with a Mash-Up part from another character, in this case the right arm of Venom.

Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech No.001 Deadpool

The first release in the Amazing Yamaguchi sub-line of Revoltech figures, Deadpool is a heavily stylized reinterpretation of the character from Japan's Kaiyodo team, emphasizing a much larger range of articulation and dynamic flair than is normally possible from mass market western released figures. The figure is based on the Marvel Now redesign of the character.

The figure includes two masked heads- one shaped normally, and the other with a molded frown visible beneath the mask. His eye pieces can be removed, allowing them to be swapped with one of five alternate sets, featuring different expressions; normal, squinting, raised eyebrow, wide-eyed, and heart-shaped, allowing one to create any number of varying expressions for the figure.

The figure also comes with four alternate hand sets- closed fists, weapon gripping hands, expressive opened hands and a pair of thumbs up hands. He also comes equipped with 2 katana blades, and two katana hilts that peg into his sheathes, giving the illusion of the blades being stored on his back, 2 pistols and a knife, which can sheath in his boot. Finally, the figure includes a display stand, allowing it to be posed in a multitude of dynamic mid-air poses, or simply held with extra support in a more traditional pose.

Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech No.001EX Deadpool (X-Force)

A repaint of the original release of the Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech No.001, Deadpool (X-Force) is a black and grey recolored version of the character depicting his time with Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force, heavily stylized to fit the more anime-inspired aesthetic of the Revoltech line.

As a repaint, X-Force Deadpool includes the same accessories as the original release- two heads, one featuring a molded frown beneath the mask, and five sets of eyes to be swapped between them, allowing for numerous expressions. Four sets of alternate hands, giving the option for fists, gripping hands, open hands and thumbs up.

Weapon wise, the figure still includes the same 2 katanas, hilts for the sheaths, boot knife and two pistols. Finally, Deadpool also includes the same display stand as the original, allowing for more stability in standard posing, or for dynamic action poses mid-air.

figma No. 353- Deadpool

The 353rd release in Good Smile's long running figma toyline, Deadpool is a somewhat stylized reinterpretation of the version of Deadpool seen in the Marvel Now run of the comics. Deadpool was released in two formats, the "normal release" for ¥7,222, and a special DX version at ¥8,333, featuring additional accessories.

The standard release includes three expressions, which can be swapped out by removing the faceplate from the figure's head, a normal, neutral look, a manic look with one eye squinting and the other enlarged, and a grinning expression. The figure also includes 13 alternate hand parts- a pair of fists, a pair of sword-holding hands, a pair of gun-holding hands, a pair of relaxed hands, a pair of hands making a heart shape, as well as hands performing a thumbs up, shaka bra and pointing gesture. The figure also includes two katanas, which can be stored on the sheathes on his back, a revolver, a stylized pistol, and a knife that can holster in his boot.

The DX version of the figure also includes an entire swappable lower body, replacing his groin and upper legs with a piece depicting Deadpool in his heart-print boxers, with his scarred legs visible. He also has a new partially unmasked face, a chimichanga, a new hand part to hold said chimichanga and two rifles matching the aesthetic of the pistol from the normal release.

Both releases also include a figma stand for increased stability and posing options.

MAFEX No.082 - Deadpool (Gurihiru Art Ver.)

Released as figure 82 in Medicom's MAFEX toyline, Deadpool, like many figures from their marvel imprint, is actually based on the art of Gurihiru and the character's appearance in the Gwenpool ongoing comic, and is thus designed to match with her aesthetics.

Deadpool comes with three expressions to swap between; normal, neutral eyes, squinting eyes and a manic expression with one squinting eye and one wide eye. The figure also includes three alternate belt buckles- one featuring the classic version of the Deadpool emblem, one featuring a more stylized "sharper" version of the emblem, and one featuring the sharper emblem with the usual white parts of the logo colored red, inspired by Gurihiru art depicting the character in several other sources.

Deadpool also includes 7 pairs of hands; fists, sword-gripping hands, pistol gripping hands, expressive open hands, thumbs up hands, "shaka bra" hands, and neutral open-palm hands. The figure also comes with two katana blades, and two alternate sheathes- one set that are empty for when the figure is displayed holding the weapons, and one set that have them stored inside already.

Mezco One:12 Collective Deadpool

Part of the One:12 Collective toyline from Mezco, Deadpool is a six-inch scale figure that features a tailored cloth costume over a heavily articulated base body underneath. Like many other figures in the One:12 Collective line, Deadpool's costume is a unique design, blending the general color layout of the classic costume, but the more armored arm and leg guards of the Marvel Now design.

The figure includes 2 heads, normal and squinting, and 6 hand parts- a pair of fists, a pair of weapon grip hands, a grenade throwing hand for the right hand and a "shaka bra" expression hand for the left hand. The armored pieces are sculpted separately from the tailored costume, including gloves, shinguards, vambraces and the belts and harnesses can all be removed separately.

Two katanas are included and can be stored on the sheaths in his harness, which can also hold the six individual 40mm grenades the figure includes. The figure also includes an assault rifle with an underslung grenade launcher, which one of the 40mm grenades can slot into, two handguns which can store in his holsters, and four hand grenades.

Finally, the figure includes a display base based on the Deadpool logo with a clear, multi-jointed arm allowing for maximum stability and aid with posing.

Mezco One:12 Collective Deadpool (X-Force)

Part of the One:12 Collective toyline from Mezco, X-Force Deadpool is a six-inch scale figure that features a tailored cloth costume over a heavily articulated base body underneath. The figure is a "repaint" of the original release of Deadpool in a costume inspired by his Uncanny X-Force uniform.

The figure includes 3 heads, normal, squinting and a newly sculpted half-unmasked head, as well as 6 hand parts- a pair of fists, a pair of weapon grip hands, a grenade throwing hand for the right hand and a "shaka bra" expression hand for the left hand. The armored pieces are sculpted separately from the tailored costume, including gloves, shinguards, vambraces and the belts and harnesses can all be removed separately, and the harness itself is a new sculpt.

The figure's primary differences, aside from color, from the original release comes from the arsenal included. The figure retains the katanas, sheaths, hand grenades and assault rifle from the original release, but now includes a rocket launcher, a dedicated grenade launcher, two uzi sub-machineguns, and one small handgun.

The figure includes the same display base as well, but repainted into the grey colored variant matching the X-Force color scheme.

Mezco One:12 Collective Deadpool (X-Men)

Part of the One:12 Collective toyline from Mezco, X-Men Deadpool is a six-inch scale figure that features a tailored cloth costume over a heavily articulated base body underneath. The figure is a "repaint" of the original release of Deadpool in a costume inspired by his X-Men uniform from Cable & Deadpool #8. The figure was released as a SDCC 2017 exclusive.

Handful of Heroes - Series 1 Dead Pool

Deadpool was a figure in the Handful of Heroes sub-line, which contained roughly 20 sculpts, all repainted with major retooling to represent other characters in a 2" scale. The Deadpool figure was a transluctant red and had a revealed Wade Wilson head. Deadpool was retooled into Nick Fury. His name is incorrectly listed as Dead Pool on the checklist pack-in. Because they are both from wave 1, it can be argued whether Deadpool or Nick Fury is the original mold, but changes from Fury to Deadpool include- shortening one rifle into a handgun, adding swords on his back, a new belt and a new head.
